Friday 15th March

Well today was a very busy day baking wise, ready for visitors tomorrow - apart from cooking some chickens and a glazed gammon joint in readiness for lunch I have also made an Oreo chocolate cake, a gingerbread wreath cake and some banana and sultana muffins. the cake pictures follow here

Saturday update

I added to the baking today by baking a large white loaf, and then made the same bread mixture again for 8 mini white loaves but due to the arrival of people over the morning I forgot to take any photos - needless to say all the loaves went instantly at lunch and the bread was almost all gone by the next morning so I can only assume they were ok !! Next time I make any I will post the pictures.

    I love the look of the ginger cake. I haven't got one of those tins, yet...
    I think I will add icing like this to my next ginger cake rather than the lemon drizzle I put on last time x
