Thursdays baking attempts

Well I decided to add a loaf of bread to my list for baking today, but as its a rainy day here in Exeter today I had all day to complete my tasks.

 I am posting a few pictures first of the ingredients followed by a pictures of the finished article - enjoy

Bread - very pleased with this result 








Peanut butter cookies - looking and smelling fab




Chelsea Buns 


The Chelsea buns look a little darker than I would have liked, but the test will be in taste, maybe the oven may need to be a little lower next time. They need to cool now for 10 minutes before taking out of the tin and pulling apart..... and eating of course.

 Off to shop for more ingredients now, and tomorrow may be a cleaning, chilling and knitting day I think...

    Eileen these all look fabulous! I wish I lived nearer - i could have had a cookie with my coffee this morning, the bread would have been perfect with my soup at lunchtime and a Chelsea bun (haven't had one for years!) would be very welcome now with my cup of tea!
